Problems We Solved for a Real Client

By Joseph Alexander

After a decade of stark minimalism, web design is evolving. Discover the emerging trends in typography, color, and depth that define the next era of digital experiences.

In this case study, I walk you through three real problems we solved for JoyPixels — a company whose emoji product is used by millions worldwide. They came to us for a complete brand refresh, design system, marketing site, and app UI built in Framer

The three core challenges:

1. Balancing Fun + Professional How do you make an expressive emoji brand feel enterprise-ready without losing its personality? We created a mature design system with strong grids, polished typography, and strategic motion that felt both playful and premium.

2. Unifying Two Platforms The marketing site and web app needed to feel like one seamless product. We built a shared UI kit, standardized components, and used consistent tokens across both — all while maintaining perfect Figma-to-Framer parity.

3. Building for Scale The client needed to update content, publish blogs, and manage resources without breaking anything. We engineered a smart CMS structure in Framer with locked layouts, reusable templates, and built-in SEO — giving them total control without the complexity.

This video isn't just about pretty designs — it's about the problem-solving, systems thinking, and technical decisions that make real client projects successful. Whether you're a designer, Framer builder, or working with enterprise clients, there's something here you can steal for your next project.
